Decent Stay with Some Issues

rickety chest cheap wardrobe
The room furnishings felt dated for the price I paid at £230 a night. The drawers in the chest were difficult to open. The doors on the wardrobe seemed cheap. I also missed having a hand shower attachment in the bath. It made washing my hair awkward.

Wonderful Loch Fyne Stay

lovely lounge fine views excellent location individually designed rooms
The hotel offered a really nice residents lounge ON the first floor. I enjoyed the Individually designed rooms! They had flair. I found the location excellent with fine views.
The furnishings were slightly dated, though they were adequate for my needs.

All the food was delicious I thought. The hotel has a reasonable price! and good service in a buzzy dining area with a very reasonable wine list.

The location is right on the edge of the loch. I also found the warm and cosy traditional bar very inviting.
The room I had was ok , but felt dated. The breakfast the next morning was greasy and pretty poor.

Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments

inconsistent shower limited parking
The shower temperature was inconsistent. The water pressure was also quite low, particularly during peak hours. This made showering less enjoyable and a bit frustrating, especially after a long day (I wasn't expecting this). The limited parking near the entrance was also inconvenient. I often had to park further away.
