The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa enjoys a great central location, perfect for accessing the town centre, harbour, shops, and restaurants, as well as being close to the ferry, train, and bus terminals. Guests appreciate the spacious and comfortable rooms, some featuring excellent amenities like Nespresso machines and well-maintained bathrooms, while others boast spectacular views from apsidal windows reminiscent of a lighthouse. Acceptable Stay with Some Drawbacks

out of service lift issues
The staff was quite lovely.
The lift was out of service the entire weekend. I was placed on the third floor and it was quite a trek. Rooms on the third floor are small too.

adequate stay

convenient location friendly staff cooked options out of service lift worn hotel third floor
The location was very convenient! staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast included a good choice of continental and cooked options. I asked for toast with breakfast and received it, even though it was not on the menu.
The lift was out of service ALL weekend, and my room was on the third floor. This was quite a trek. The photos online did not represent how worn the hotel is.

Underwhelming Stay, Issues Noticed

missing sheer curtains unrefrigerated milk
The coffee machine in the room worked fine.
The absence of sheer curtains on the large window felt strange. I was at the back of the hotel and looked directly into flats, so I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Fresh milk for coffee and tea was provided, but it sat out without refrigeration.

underwhelming stay, expected more

disorganized staff road noise
The breakfast service was honestly a mess. staff seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganized. it was a struggle just to get a coffee, and the food took forever to arrive. also, the noise from the street at night was really bad. I had trouble sleeping even with the windows closed. the road noise ruined some nights.
