a lovely stay

gluten free options supper table lively bar
The restaurant offered gluten free options. i appreciated the receptionist. She found me a table for supper even without a reservation. the bar was lively with a bar menu and music. I enjoyed a pre-dinner drink there.

the breakfast was divine! i especially loved the variety. the staff were also helpful and friendly during breakfast. the rooms had really comfortable beds.
the room i stayed in felt quite small. it also got very hot inside, even with the window open. there was some noise as well (i could hear people talking in the hallway).

narrow stairway marked duvet
The stairs to my room were narrow. Lugging my suitcase up them seemed like a workout I didn't sign up for. The duvet cover also had some marks on it. It wasn't the end of the world, but it certainly took away from the feeling of luxury I expected at this price point.

the room was clean, acceptable.
The room was small. it felt too warm, likely due to inadequate ventilation. i also found it quite noisy. I did not sleep well. twice.

great location excellent service convenient parking
The hotel's location was great for accessing various attractions and the ferry (a real plus!). Service throughout the hotel was excellent and attentive. I found the restaurant to be really good. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Parking options were also very convenient.
The temperature in the room was a bit too warm for my liking.
