The communal lounge was cozy with its inviting wood fire. A wide selection of books was available, perfect for relaxed reading indoors or outside. I appreciated the ample parking. It made arrival and departure smooth.
I found the variety of bottled beer to be limited, as there were no draught options available.

the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of choices. the staff was very helpful . the location was also great, it was easy to reach the village on foot.
the room i stayed in was dusty and in need of some updating. the curtains were hanging down, so they didn't really close properly. the receptionist wasn't particularly pleasant when the reception was open.

i had a wonderful experience . the breakfast offered a wide array of fresh options, including a good variety of fruit, cereals and hot food. the location was perfect, i had everything i needed nearby and easily accessible.

excellent food plentiful breakfast tasty sausage
the food was excellent and the venison was especially nice. the breakfast buffet was plentiful. the sausages were tasty and well cooked. nessieland and the gift shop were at the end of the car park.
wifi was only available in one area. i was told it was an old building. i stayed in a 17th century castle that had excellent wifi. more access points are needed.
