beautiful hotel lovely view attentive staff diverse choice
the hotel sits beautifully next to the loch. the room offered a lovely view. the staff members were attentive. breakfast included diverse choices and top quality ingredients.
the room size was slightly smaller than anticipated compromising on comfort a little. still it was a minor detail considering the overall experience. i barely noticed it anyway.

mixed feelings about this stay

cramped room obscured view
The breakfast included was acceptable. I didn't go hungry.
The "premium plus room" wasn't what i expected, though. it felt cramped. the promised loch view was mostly obscured by trees. I could barely see the water.

loch views smoked salmon slow wi-fi limited channels
The views overlooked the loch. It was fabulous. Breakfast included the best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs I have ever tasted.
The Wi-Fi was very slow, and it kept disconnecting. The television in my room had limited channels.

The staff at breakfast was really good. That much is true.
The minibar prices was like highway robbery. I saw bottled water cost almost as much as a dram of whisky, just offensive. the promised turndown service never materialized. Maybe they thought i didn't look important enough.
