Really good Scottish hospitality

large room friendly staff excellent breakfast
The staff proved friendly and cute upon my arrival. The room was large, boasting a king bed and spacious bathroom (perfect after a long day). Breakfast was excellent, with attentive service and a wide variety of options. I look forward to returning should my travels bring me back to scotland.
The spa was closed , disappointing, and I wasn't informed about it prior to my arrival. I would have liked to have known this in advance.

Breakfast offered many choices. Hot plates kept food warm. I noticed the staff was attentive (especially the waitress). I enjoyed the haggis for breakfast.

The location is quiet, yet close to the town centre. Riverside walks are nearby (easy access). I found it a short walk to local shops, a bus stop and tesco. It is great location.

The room was spacious. It included a comfy double bed. The breakfast was tasty. Plenty of choices were available at breakfast. The full size snooker table was a bonus. I enjoyed it very much. The wee bar provided a nice spot for a drink. The location was good.
The spa was not open.

delicious breakfast friendly staff comfortable bed closed spa evening meals dated decor
The breakfast was fantastic! so many choices, and everything tasted really fresh. i enjoyed the large, comfortable bed in my room. It helped me sleep soundly. the staff were also very friendly, always smiling and ready to help with any questions.
The spa wasn't open. also, the restaurant was closed for evening meals. the room decor felt a little dated. The headboard had some noticeable stains.

i loved the breakfast, it was amazing. the room had a king size bed, a dream i had long wished for. the room were quiet, so peaceful night i got. it seemed like a tender embrace, so warm.
the swimming pool were unavailable, it ached my heart. the hotel had steps, it seemed like a stumble in my dreams. i wish it could have been easier.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast included a variety of options. I used the snooker table, it was full sized and well-kept (a great way to spend an evening!).
