a serene getaway

fine location woodland walk
the location was fine WITH nature surrounding everything. breakfast felt different, yet it tasted delicious to me. i loved seeing a red squirrel near the bird feeder AND a seal swimming in the loch. the peaceful community woodland walk was right on the doorstep, i loved that.
the hotel lacked a scottish touch which was a disappointment. while traveling far to visit scotland, i expect a scottish experience to remember always. adding scottish sourced products would enhance everything.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast offered a unique experience with plant based options available. A good change from typical hotel food. the host willingly accommodated dietary needs, made everything special. i relished the fresh, locally sourced ingredients used.
Location
10/10
the hotel boasts an enviable setting, close to loch goil, THAT makes the view Lovely. nature envelops everything. the nearby woodland walk offers immersive experiences in scotland's gorgeous landscape.
Rooms
9/10
the superior double or twin room provided a great space with views of the lake. tasteful furnishings complemented the room. the bed offered supreme comfort, allowing restful nights amidst nature's serenity.
