The building included a beautiful garden to relax in. breakfast featured veggies from the garden. It was fabulous. my room included a very comfy bed with a heated blanket.

Melanie IS a super host. The place is lovely and very stylish. We had a great time AND loved her Jack Russell dogs.
breakfast was a poached egg and toast, that was tasty, BUT not the full breakfast. It was a VERY unusual experience.

Melanie provided a warm welcome and maintained open communication. She also was accommodating WITH my arrival time. She ensured a comfortable stay AND addressed questions promptly.

Breakfast included locally sourced products AND was prepared with skill. The whiskey porridge IS highly recommended. It was a standout memory from my visit and a DELICIOUS start to the day.

a sociable and delicious experience
garden area amazing shower
the breakfast reviews were accurate. the garden seating area was very enjoyable and we were made so welcome. i particularly enjoyed using the fire, such a treat! the shower was amazing too.
The front window blind doesn't fully cover the window. Passers-by can see you in bed with the light on. there was no blind on the side window, made me uncomfortable walking around undressed.
