charming islay escape

scottish selection packed breakfast garden view extra blankets
the breakfast offered a full scottish selection it was served in the starboard bistro from 7.30am until 9.30am daily i noted there was an option for an earlier breakfast with prior arrangement a packed breakfast was available departing on the 7am ferry upon request the evening prior the hotel offers rooms including superior rooms with sea views and standard rooms i stayed in a twin room with a garden view. the room included a hospitality tray towels and shampoo i also appreciated the extra blankets provided
i did find the television service to be somewhat erratic and accessing certain channels proved difficult at times

the hotel restaurant offered very tasty food a convivial atmosphere was noticeable in the bar area each evening i found the breakfast to be of high quality with locally sourced ingredients on the menu the service was attentive.

the location is convenient because of its proximity to the ferry terminal it is less than 100 meters away the area is an interesting one near the harbour the scenery is lovely overlooking the sound i enjoyed the beautiful views of the paps of jura from there.

charmed by the seaside stay

kind staff perfect location convenient meals
I found the staff kind, they really made a difference! the hotel's location suited my needs perfectly, putting me close to transport links. the food was also good. I liked the convenience of having meals available right there. it was a nice surprise!
The wifi signal was quite weak in certain areas of the building. It sometimes.

The hotel is situated less than 100 meters from the ferry terminal. That was very useful. the immediate proximity to the terminal saved a lot of travel time. it was surprisingly quiet given the ferry's proximity, though!

Parking is available behind the hotel, providing easy access with vehicles, and it felt really safe. a shop is located just across the road. It offered all essentials we needed. i also saw a snug bar, though i did not try it myself.

convenient location delicious breakfast cute staff
the location is perfect. it is very close to the ferry terminal, so getting around was easy. the breakfast was delicious. i especially enjoyed the variety of scottish options. the staff was kind and helpful.
the tv in my room did not work, and i was unable to get it fixed .
