Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Coylet Inn is appreciated for its stunning location on Loch Eck, with many guests enjoying rooms offering loch views, sometimes even from the bathroom. The traditional-style building and cozy glamping pods, some featuring kitchenettes, offer a unique charm. Wildlife enthusiasts particularly love the feeding station, offering the chance to spot red squirrels and other animals; however, some guests have noted minor issues such as only one coffee mug being available in the pods. Guests often enjoy the excellent food, the traditional bar with its roaring fire, and easy access to the beach and nearby walks.

lochside stay

traditional building beach access red squirrels scottish wildlife
the scenery from the hotel was beautiful i could sit outside and enjoy it with a drink it was easy to access the beach for swimming. the building had a traditional look and felt very scottish. wildlife was abundant i saw red squirrels and various finches outside my bedroom window.
the breakfast wasn't an option i was a bit disappointed. the price of my evening meal was reduced as compensation for this.

average stay overall

steep stairs late night party
The stairs to the room were quite steep. My husband actually slipped. a late-night party in the bar beneath our room disrupted our sleep for hours. with no staff present, the noise continued well into the early hours. we decided to leave earlier than planned because of this.
