Acceptable, but some issues

stained bed runner limited food
The breakfast had plenty of choice, good.
Our room was very sad. It definitely needed upgrading. Bubbling plasterwork and a stained bed runner did NOT add to the enjoyment. The food choice was restricted, and it seemed the hotel had a glut of potatoes.

dirty carpet ceiling cobwebs
the view from my room was acceptable. plenty of light came in.
The room was not clean enough. I found dust everywhere. there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The housekeeping clearly needs improvement, and it wasn't pleasant. the carpet seemed damaged, made the room appear shabby. the experience was far from ideal.

damaged carpet short-staffed
The room looked worn. there was damaged carpet, and it seemed like a basic, low-quality setup. also, getting a meal was frustrating. I had to spend too much time queuing at the bar since the serving staff were hard to find. it seemed like they were short-staffed.

The breakfast selection included diverse choices. I found the option to fuel up before exploring quite convenient. I particularly appreciated the dinner. The food tasted delicious and looked skillfully prepared. THESE aspects definitely enhanced my experience.

charming stay with amazing views

superb location relaxed atmosphere friendly staff spacious suite
the location was superb, offering great access to nearby attractions and scenic spots. the bar area had a nice selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any queries i had, though the bar service was a bit slow! the suite was spacious. it provided ample room to relax.
the decor felt a little dated in some areas, though it did add a touch of character.

relaxing stay helpful staff great bar superb band
The location allows for a relaxing overnight stay. We often visit. Family members and friends now frequent the hotel too, thanks to our recommendations. The staff are always helpful and polite throughout the hotel. The bar area is great for relaxation and the Saturday evening band was superb.
The dining room could use some background music to improve the atmosphere.

Breakfast offered plenty of choices with beautiful views, setting up for a day. I had mussels for starters and fajitas for mains. The restaurant staff checked everything was ok and offered more assistance.

The room provided a fabulous loch view with wonderful scenery. Bedding was comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent, with plenty of hot water. I also enjoyed the option of a bath.
