succulent duck delicious sauce
i booked a table an hour earlier. the confit duck tasted succulent. the redcurrant sauce tasted delicious. it was so good to find somewhere for dinner when it's still quiet season in skye.
the room felt dated and quite small. the toilet layout wasn't very user-friendly and felt a bit uncomfortable.

small room unresponsive remote
my room, a twin room, was hardly sufficient in size. maneuvering around the beds proved a challenge. additionally, the television remote was unresponsive. i struggled to change channels, and the volume control was erratic. a prompt solution to these issues would be appropriate.

The staff was fantastic they were so friendly. The room was super clean it was also comfortable. Everything at breakfast was local I loved it

Really good Stay, Clean Rooms, Delicious Food, and Friendly Service

The rooms were very clean. Decorated well. The food was of high quality. I noted they even stocked alcohol-free wine, a nice addition. Everything worked well for my travel plans.
The room I occupied was a bit small. It felt dated too. The toilet layout seemed small. This made it not so easy to use.

charming stay!

helpful staff smoked salmon creamy yoghurt
the staff welcomed me and was super helpful. breakfast had great options, specially smoked salmon and creamy yoghurt. settling in the lounge before dinner for a gin felt just right. the owner, jenn, gave great hiking suggestions, perfect for my equipment.
the smell of cooking fumes in the corridor close to the kitchen wasnt great. it sort of affected the overall experience. better ventilation is needed.

i got many helpful tips, and the hosts were super friendly. service was really amazing here, they really went the extra mile to make sure i was well looked after, i appreciated it.

The bedroom was clean and well equipped. There was good parking space, too. i did enjoy the lounge. It was comfortable, it felt very homey. the location is excellent for exploring.

The breakfast offered a nice selection and the dinner was also quite good. i tried local scottish food and was delighted, specially the pie, fresh from the oven. It was amazing, and the price seemed reasonable. the smoked salmon was particularly good.
