a genuinely lovely hotel

attentive waitress clean room comfortable bed
breakfast included sausage, haggis, and black pudding. the waitress was attentive. i found the furnishings attractive and the bed large and comfortable. the room was neat and clean. there was quality liquid soap in the bathroom.
the dining area felt quiet. the decor could use some updating.

friendly staff fresh breakfast lovely action
staff was friendly. breakfast had a fab taste and was freshly cooked. i accidentally left my jumper after breakfast. a girl knocked on my door to return it. it was a lovely action. i thought i had lost it forever.
carpets look well worn. dust rests on the headboard edge. lights had different tones and sizes. one bulb didn't work. i see little attention to detail here.

delicious breakfast clean room polite staff wonderful staff
i found the breakfast was delicious and served by a kind owner it was nice talking to them the room was very clean i found the hotel staff to be polite and helpful i attended a post-funeral gathering there and the staff were so wonderful.
i found the hotel a little disappointing because i noticed some cobwebs on the ceiling in the room.

delicious breakfast convenient parking
they were attentive and helpful. the breakfast included many options, and it was delicious! i found parking right in front of the building. Made arrival easy.
the stairway leading to my room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. i'd suggest some air fresheners.

mouldy sealant noisy pipe work
the pillows were indeed lovely.
My room showed its age. Mouldy sealant surrounded the bath, it seemed a simple fix was overlooked. noisy pipe work bothered me throughout the night. i wouldn't pay more than i did.
