Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Burlington Guest House is appreciated for its excellent location right on the beach, offering amazing views, especially from rooms like number 6 and the top-floor room 9, which are particularly spacious and feature bay windows. Guests commonly enjoy the good breakfast and find the rooms clean and well-equipped with tea/coffee facilities. While the off-street car parking can sometimes be a matter of luck, the comfortable beds, reliable TV and WiFi, along with the proximity to a play park, pub, and shop, make it a great base for adventure.

fine location clean room hot breakfast friendly staff
i found the location fine with views over the beach. my room was looked super fresh, and it had tea and coffee facilities. the breakfast was served hot, it was also on time. the staff was super friendly and they engaged warmly with guests.
The tap in the room was loose, this made it difficult to get hot water, so i boiled the kettle. the shower door was hanging off. I didn't like to move it. the windows needed attention, the seals have gone and water is inside the panes.

delicious breakfast helpful staff great location dusty headboard broken shower insufficient curtains
The breakfast was delicious!!! it had lots of choices. the staff were so helpful and friendly. That was amazing. the location is great for touring the island. It's very convenient.
The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. there was dust on the headboard. I noticed it immediately. the shower did not work very well. It was either too hot or too cold. the curtains did not close properly, a potential privacy issue for me!!!

the breakfast did include freshly made croissants and that was acceptable.
the shower was quite small and i think it presented a problem for some guests i guess. there wasnt a shower shelf at all or even a bathmat, imagine that. the water took ages to get even warm.
