the american diner was a standout feature and provided a very themed eating space. the food was great. our room had a large comfortable bed. the bathroom had good finishes and the owner was very accessible and happy to assist.
the selection of wines was quite limited for my taste

I was charmed by the hotel decor with American themes. Food were tasty. The staff was very accommodating.
The wine selection was somewhat limited. I prefer a larger selection.

Wonderful Themed Stay

themed decor fine view super clean cleanliness friendly landlord
The decor transported me to a mini USA, a good surprise. A window offered a fine view from my room. Everything was spotlessly clean upon my arrival. I found the landlord friendly and helpful .
The bar was empty, perhaps because it was the Highland Games weekend. This didn't detract much from my visit.

The location is fairly quiet and situated a manageable distance from the town. A bus service is available, presenting an alternative to the walk if one prefers not to walk. The walk takes you about 2 miles into town.

The breakfast was really good. The food tasted fresh. The breakfast provided was substantial enough to last most of the day. The hotel offers a diner with burgers, hot dogs, and burritos, giving guests a variety of American-inspired meals.
