wonderful stay!

beautiful location homely feel friendly host
The location was beautiful. It overlooked the river! it was also only a ten minute walk into town. everything seemed so clean, and i noticed many nice little finishing touches that gave it a homely feel. our host even brought us tea and shortbread in the lounge upon arrival. I found that to be wonderful.
the pillows seemed very flat.

The king room featured a comfortable king-size bed. coffee, tea, and cookies were provided in the room. the modern bathroom included a nice shower. I found the water pressure to be perfect!

The hotel has a lovely garden overlooking the river. Many birds and other wildlife can be seen there. parking is available right outside the door. it is very easy to unload luggage, i found.

breakfast was excellent. there was a good range of spreads and condiments available. i enjoyed a full cooked breakfast one morning and a continental the next day, i found the choices to be amazing!

good stay by the river!

homemade shortbread garden access cooked breakfast
valerie and brian welcomed me warmly the garden room provided a super space i really enjoyed the direct access to the garden there was also nice homemade shortbread the locally sourced drinking water was a great touch. breakfast each morning offered great choices i had a full cooked option with a continental selection available plus a range of spreads i really enjoyed the fresh rose in the bedroom. the hotel's proximity to the main street makes walks around the shops and meals easy the quiet location along the river provides a safe and relaxing trip back i found parking right outside the door convenient.

a riverside retreat

fresh rose great location delicious breakfast helpful host
the breakfast included several choices like a full cooked option or a continental selection. i found a fresh rose added a lovely touch to the bedroom. the location was great as i saw deer grazing right from my window (a very romantic experience). brian cooked the best breakfast, and valerie even helped book a restaurant for our next stop.
the pillows could have been of a higher quality, but it was a very minor detail.

quiet garden fresh rose town center friendly welcome
i liked the quick walk into the town center. shops and meals were easily accessible. the garden overlooking the river was very quiet. i noticed fresh roses in the bedroom, and i appreciated the friendly welcome from the hosts.
the yoghurt at breakfast wasn't served in individual pots.
