small room used soap
the setting was acceptable. i guess the long driveway to the house had beautiful scenery.
i must say the single room i got was not good value. it was small and not worth the money. the bathroom was not prepared properly. there was used soap, totally unacceptable for paying guests. i was not impressed.

The host was friendly and helpful.
The room was not as clean as I expected. The carpet had not been vacuumed. I also found the provided soap had already been used by someone else, and that was unhygienic.

magical driveway scottish experience
Jacqueline welcomed us like family. i loved the beautiful building. It was like a true scottish experience! the driveway up to the hotel is magical, i will never forget it.
The bathroom was not directly connected to the room. I had to walk down the corridor. a sink inside the room would be helpful to wash my hands after using the toilet.

grand furnishings comfortable room excellent breakfast
the house is beautifully situated. grand furnishings are present and the room was comfortable. the bathroom was palatial. breakfast was excellent with great coffee (i especially enjoyed the fresh fruit).
The driveway is long. It could be difficult for some vehicles.

tasty breakfast friendly host beautiful grounds inconvenient bathroom missing sink missing kettle
the breakfast was tasty. jacqueline was friendly and cute to all guests. the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. we got good advice about local dinner options.
the bathroom wasn't directly connected to the room. it was down the hall, a little inconvenient. the room lacked a sink. there also wasn't a beverage tray or kettle in the room.
