Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Corriemar House offers a delightful stay with bright, spacious, and clean rooms, some boasting stunning sea views. Many guests appreciate the convenient location, a short walk along the seafront to the town center, while others have noted it's a brisk 20-minute walk from the train station. Thoughtful touches such as a fridge, treats, and coffee/tea in the rooms are common, and there is ample parking available; however, a few guests have mentioned the shower pressure was very low. You can also enjoy a tastefully decorated lounge overlooking the ocean and esplanade.

convenient location free parking excellent communication beautiful guest room
The location suited me well for visiting the area. It has a short walk to the town center. i found free off-road parking very convenient when i travelled by motorcycle. the guest room was beautiful. I didn't forget to check it out.
The wifi was horrible. It was the worst i've used in years. they could benefit from a mesh network because it uses repeaters, which slow the service to a crawl. it was slower than 1990s dial-up.
Rooms
9/10
The twin room was clean and quiet. Tea and coffee were also provided in the room. two cans of soft drink were available too. the beds felt very comfortable.

Dining

the in-room fast-made porridge, coffee, tea, cookies, and biscuits were very convenient. this option worked perfectly for an early departing day trip. i was so happy for this.

Decent stay with minor issues

convenient location tea coffee free parking non-existent wifi heater instructions absent staff
The location proved convenient, presenting only a short walk to the town center. The provided tea and coffee were very welcome after a long journey. Free off-road parking was available, benefiting my motorcycle trip.
The WiFi was non-existent in my room. I expected accommodation to have at least reasonable WiFi, especially to plan trips. There were no instructions in the room on how to switch on the heater. (I also couldn't find anyone to ask about it)
