stained carpet faulty shower head
I was not happy with the state of the room. there were stains on the carpet and the walls had marks, it felt unclean. also, the shower head did not stay in position, and i had to hold it to shower. This made it really difficult and uncomfortable to use.

Excellent Stay Near Calton Hill

perfect location useful nespresso machine helpful staff spacious closet
The hotel's location provided easy access to the train station and nearby restaurants. The room included a stocked mini-fridge and a Nespresso machine, which I found quite useful. Staff members were very helpful, they provided recommendations for local attractions. I especially liked the spacious closet with enough hangers.
The shower's water pressure was not as strong as I prefer, it was a minor inconvenience .

The breakfast buffet included many options, it offered a good start to the day before sightseeing. The restaurant's decoration created a nice atmosphere, it. I considered the variety satisfactory.

mixed experience with some notable issues

constant noise unrefilled gel
the noise from the air conditioning kept me up. it made a clicking sound constantly, even when turned off. the staff knew about it but didn't fix it. also, the bathroom wasn't very clean and the shower gel wasn't refilled
