great stay near the ferry terminal

helpful host luggage assistance convenient location thoughtful gesture
the host greeted me at the door despite my late arrival. they even offered help with my luggage from the car. i felt welcomed.. it was just a few minutes by car to the ferry terminal. i left early to catch the ferry and the host offered to prepare sandwiches for me.
the bedroom decor was not my preference.

i had a lovely sitting room attached to my bedroom a window looked down to a lovely garden with spaces to sit i found the breakfast very good the host was particularly generous to me regarding my bags

a good stay

fine views lovely path
The room had fine views across the trees. i was told about a lovely path into town by the owner, and it took only 20 minutes to reach tesco and the shops. the room was lovely. It had a sink, which i always appreciate.
the towels felt a bit worn, and i thought they could perhaps be replaced for a fresher feel.

mixed feelings about my stay

poor sound insulation noise issue
The location was alright. Not too far from things.
the noise was a REAL issue. i could hear everything from the other rooms. it was like there was no sound insulation at all!!! i was so frustrated. i barely slept.

The breakfast tasted amazing. The room had modern facilities and these seemed well maintained. I appreciated the friendly owners.
The room was small. I heard noise from neighboring rooms until late at night. That disrupted my sleep.
