Great Location and Helpful Staff

friendly staff free upgrade good location
The staff was helpful and friendly. I received a free room upgrade to a window room because they had availability. The room size exceeded my expectations (it was a Cosy Double Room), so I was able to settle in with ease. The hotel's location was good. It was easy to access public transport.
I noticed a lack of maintenance in the room. Some lights were out, the TV was not working, and hooks were missing in the bathroom. The door didn't close properly, and was open on arrival!

The room had a TV with many channels. The room design felt nice (it was indeed lovely). I found the layout quite practical for my needs.

The hotel had a downstairs restaurant that was easily accessible. I liked the breakfast and it was of a good standard. The Platform 5 pub provided a nice spot to relax in.

I commend the exemplary customer service I received during check-in and check-out. Yanna from reception was particularly helpful upon arrival. The reception staff spoke on my way out (a very warm farewell).

the room was compact , but it served my needs well. front desk staff were helpful. the room was clean.
i was surprised at how small the room was. i know the description said cosy but it was tiny.

location is top. trams pass right outside. the room had a comfy bed. they give free coffee in reception. staff was kind too.
the lift took a bit to come sometimes. it was the only one working.

Acceptable Stay with a Few Issues

small room faulty elevator
The room was quite small. There was barely room to move around. The carpets in the hallways looked old and worn. one of the two elevators was out of service. This made getting to my room on the upper floors quite slow, as there were often long waits.

The hotel's location is very convenient! I found it easy to get around. The staff members were friendly and helpful. A pub is next door, and its spacious interior suited my needs. I found the drinks to be reasonably priced there.
The room I stayed in felt a bit small. I noticed some dirt on the floor near the door though.
