strange layout small room
The location was adequate since it allowed a short walk to both Leith and the city center.
The room was unusually laid out. A very small room was attached to the main room.. It housed a shower, toilet, and sink. There was not much room to move around and dry off after showering.

The location was convenient. The hotel is a short walk from leith walk, so restaurants and shops are very accessible. The room included tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was spacious. I appreciated the plentiful hot water.
The floorboards in the room creaked quite a bit, i noticed.

The staff provided a fan, as my room became quite warm, which i GREATLY appreciated. They seemed very helpful in addressing my concerns quickly, and their friendly demeanor.

While the hotel itself does not serve breakfast, i found MANY cafes just a short walk away. This made grabbing a quick bite easy, and i found some charming local spots. The proximity was a BIG plus.

The room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and professional. I found the location convenient, with local bus routes nearby. It was easy to reach the city center from here.
The bathroom door did not stay shut properly, a minor inconvenience.

a decent stay close to city center

the hotel was located a short distance from the main street, so i could access social venues easily. the owners seemed lovely and tried to be supportive. the room had what i needed and the bathroom was very good. the staff were helpful at check in.
The plumbing was quite noisy. I could hear it whenever someone used the sink or toilet.

the location is convenient for using public transport, and it is close to the tram line. a short walk leads to many lovely shops, cafes, and bars on the main road. it is situated in a relatively quiet residential area.

the room was clean and warm enough, especially during the night, and it was cozy. there were good tea-making facilities and toiletries. the mattresses and pillows felt really nice, and the bathroom was very clean. i had everything i needed for the stay.

The check-in and check-out procedures were very easy. i also appreciated the possibility to store luggage before and after my stay. the housekeepers were lovely. They kept everything tidy. the building had a warm atmosphere overall and provided excellent value.
