adequate stay , some issues

noticeable noise inconsistent water
the room was not as quiet as i expected , noise from the hallway was noticeable. also , the shower temperature fluctuated a lot , it made showering uncomfortable. i expected better sound insulation , and more consistent hot water. this impacted my overall experience negatively.

excellent stay

modern room bus stop city centre short bus
The room was newly redecorated and quite modern. it was close to the city centre. A short bus ride got me there in about 5-10 minutes. the bus stop was conveniently located right outside the hotel. it made travel very easy for me.
I noticed that the air conditioning wasn't adjustable. I couldn't change the settings.

yasmin was wonderful and very responsive i found the bed very comfy. the hot water was great and there were plenty of plugs throughout the room.
the door did not close properly without pushing it shut it was a bit of an inconvenience

The room provided ample space. it was nice to have enough room for me and a friend to set up our laptops and play video games comfortably. the tv screen was large. Watching youtube in bed was like a treat. i appreciated the convenient bus stop just a short walk away.
i did notice the door needed a firm push to close properly. it was a minor inconvenience, but i think it's worth looking into to ensure it closes smoothly.

I found several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. haldi, the indian bistro, stood out with its amazing flavors and pleasant atmosphere. The area is full of options, actually.

The room was renovated, clean, and spacious. it offered plenty of space, and i could adjust the temperature to my liking. This was very much appreciated. a very comfy bed completed the experience.

Yasmin was wonderful and very responsive. she was collaborative and kind when needed. the hotel manager was very nice and helpful. I felt welcome upon arrival and throughout my stay.

The location is very close to the city center. it has easy access to public transportation. i found it easy to walk to many attractions like the royal mile. The bus stop is in front of the hotel.

noticeable noise poor soundproofing
the location was quite convenient with a bus stop nearby (though i mostly walked).
the room felt smaller than advertised, it really was quite cramped. also, the noise from the street was noticeable even late into the night, difficult to sleep soundly. i wish they had better soundproofing.

on-site parking independent access new facilities good cleanliness
i found the on-site parking very convenient. having keys allowed independent access, which i appreciated. all the facilities seemed new and in good working order. the cleanliness throughout the hotel was also very good.
the location was a bit further from the main attractions than i initially thought.

the staff offered us a complimentary welcome drink upon arrival. they were also very helpful in accommodating our friends with a last-minute room. their assistance saved them from having to travel home immediately.
