Convenient Stay in Town

friendly staff good food comfortable room
The hotel staff were very friendly. I found the food in the bar quite good. My room was comfortable. I appreciated that breakfast was included in the price, and it was helpful that breakfast was early, allowing me to catch the ferry.
The room decor needs a refresh.

uncomfortable pillows staff shortage
The pillows provided minimal support , so I had a rather uncomfortable sleep. The breakfast service was also quite slow , even though it didn't seem particularly busy. I saw several guests waiting an unreasonable amount of time for simple things like toast or coffee. There was a distinct shortage of staff , which contributed to the delays. I think better staffing would really improve the guest experience.

kind staff reasonable breakfast many food options central location
The staff was wonderfully kind. i had a very reasonable breakfast and dinner. i found many food options nearby like tesco and coop. This was a real advantage. the location is very central, close to shops and pubs.

The staff are amazing and always ready to help. I really appreciated this. they helped me with a packed breakfast. the receptionist helped when a room key got stuck. She was very professional.

The room provided tea and coffee facilities. Towels were available in the room. Shampoo and shower gel were also supplied. Breakfast had an adequate selection of food. The food served was hot.

helpful staff wide selection allocated parking
the staff was really helpful when i needed directions. the breakfast included a wide selection of cereals and pastries. the allocated parking space behind the building was convenient for me.
the bathroom tiles showed a bit of wear.

updated room great breakfast friendly staff steak pie small shower faulty equipment
the room was lovely and it was recently updated. the breakfast offered a great choice. the staff were really friendly and helpful.
the steak pie needed more seasoning , i thought. the salt shaker did not work well. the shower in my single room was terribly small.
