a refuge in the north
cosy bar spacious room amazing staff
The room was spacious, modern bathroom included. breakfasts were lovely. the cosy bar was a haven after long days, intimate and cute. the staff was amazing. They helped set up the rugby match and shared local events with enthusiasm.
parking proved SLIGHTLY tricky at times, i adapted by using the ferry terminal, manageable, though it required a short walk with luggage.

amazing Breakfast And Great Location!

The breakfast had a massive range of choices. I especially liked the porridge. Staff members were very friendly! and helpful. My room had a nice comfy bed. I had to park a few blocks away. This was not a big deal though.
The bar noise late at night was very loud!

The hotel stored luggage for us on our departure day. This was a great convenience. The building is in good condition. I also noticed staff might tell you what they think. They offered genuine help when we asked for it though.

This location is great for getting to and from public transit. It is a central spot for exploring town on foot. The hotel is close to the bus station!

Breakfast was excellent. You can choose from Auslagen or Menü. Breakfast included a full scottish option plus cereals and fruit. The porridge with rhubarb compote and cream was very good! Serving hours start at 7:30. Last orders are by 8:45.

i found the hotel's location ideal for exploring the high street and harbour. the hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. i found the breakfast very good, especially the fresh kippers (they were cooked perfectly!). the value for money was good during a busy time of year.
the parking was a bit concerning at first, but i managed to park at the ferry terminal without much hassle.
