the location was REALLY convenient. i attended an event nearby. it was easy to get to the venue. breakfast was adequate and offered a good start to my day.
the bathroom had some minor issues. the toilet roll holder was loose, and there wasn't a hand towel available. i did have to pay extra for parking and that seemed steep. drinks at the bar were also quite expensive.

The staff were VERY friendly. They were helpful. Breakfast had a great selection, but the cooked breakfast did not include ALL items. I slept well. My son loved the historic Clyde Crane view from the room.
The room was clean ENOUGH. The shower only ran cold. This was not pleasant. The receptionist was not helpful upon arrival. The room felt outdated and could use some tlc. There was a lack of plugs in the room.

The hotel assigned rooms next to each other when requested a few days before arrival. This was a very nice touch. the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. i was given fresh towels .
the duvet cover was a little thin.
