draft tonic unappetizing curry

The staff were very courteous. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

The gin and tonic was served in a goblet, FULL of ice, and I was told they couldn't adjust the tonic amount because it was draft. The Thai red curry I ordered lacked sauce and had a strange mix of vegetables, including carrot chunks (I found this VERY unappetizing).

Really good stay with caring staff

The rooms are supremely comfortable and very well appointed. The service from the staff was caring and attentive to our needs. The menu had changed recently and offered a reduced choice, however it was still comprehensive and very well prepared. I appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel.

My only very minor concern was the wine list, the cheapest bottle was quite expensive.

The room had stylish decor and a fantastic bathroom. I appreciated the well thought out layout. The king size bed was very comfortable and warm. The room furnishings felt luxurious and of a high standard.

The food at dinner was beautiful, I especially enjoyed the creme brûlée. I found a great choice for breakfast. I enjoyed local smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. The breakfast included fresh fruit salad.

fab stay!

super clean room yummy breakfast central location

i stopped in for a night, and the room was super clean. the breakfast was also so yummy. i really enjoyed the location near so many shops too.
