Boath House is a beautiful Georgian house, often described as stunning, with a meticulously maintained walled garden that many guests enjoyed exploring. The rooms are spacious, decorated with great attention to detail, and some offer lovely green views; the Writing Studio even provides paper and pencils for sketching the surroundings. While some found the service in the restaurant a little slow at times, many guests have relished the fantastic lunches, especially when enjoyed in the sunny walled garden.

walled garden beautiful garden kind staff friendly staff elegant food very nice food cool room cold room broken stove wood stove small mirror bathroom mirror
My time there was so lovely! The setting really is beautiful. I loved the walled garden. The staff was so kind. I also thought dinner was really nice. The food seemed elegant, and its value was very nice.
I have to say, I wasn't so thrilled about everything. The room was a bit cool when I arrived. The wood burning stove don't work. there was only one small mirror near the sink. It made it hard to do your face!

Good Stay in Scotland

comfortable bed on-site parking
I stayed in the Studio Lake View. It was spacious and well kept. The bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the large bath. The staff were very cute. I also found the on-site parking convenient.
The breakfast service felt slow one morning! It took over an hour to be served, longer than expected.
Location
9/10
The hotel is situated within beautiful grounds and well-kept gardens. The surrounding areas are quiet and secluded. It is easy to access local attractions, though a car is recommended for exploring.
