Comfortable Stay and Great Breakfast

The room was spacious. It included all the usual amenities (I especially liked the modern bathroom). The breakfast had a large choice for all tastes. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Acceptable but Disappointing

drafty windows peeling paint
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel provided free on-site parking which was a plus.
Our room was quite run down. The windows were old and did not shut properly causing drafts (.. ) The room was very dark, with only one main light. The decor felt dated, and there was paint peeling off the walls in the room and the bathroom.

easy trips helpful manager clear reception unruly noise
The bus stop directly outside made trips into the city very easy. The manager also kindly stored my gear in the breakfast room. He even moved it to my room later. I found that helpful.
I found no clear reception area upon arrival. The bar below my room created a lot of noise. The patrons leaving at midnight were quite loud and unruly.
