low water pressure worn mattress
I was a bit disappointed with a couple of things. the shower had very little pressure. also, the mattress in my room seemed a bit worn out. It reminded me of i might roll right off the bed when i moved around (it was a bit unsettling!).

The large bathroom just blew me away! the bed was super comfy. i even watched netflix on the big tv in the room, a total score. staff were friendly and cute! breakfast was superb. Everything tasted fresh.
the squeaky doors sound kinda scary at night.

the bar features tyneside blonde beer that i enjoyed. breakfast included bacon and a proper butty. dinner was excellent. casserole of the day really hit the spot.

the hotel offered a bar with a real fireplace, so cool. there's a deep hot bath that i needed after my long walk. non alcoholic drinks were available. the pub was warm too.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were helpful. The food and drink were GREAT! I had bubble bath in my room and loved it.
