The food at the restaurant was excellent. It offered vegetarian options. the en suite shower was fairly recent. but the room itself was spacious and had a sweeping bay view.

sea view updated room tasty meals poor breakfast old bed emergency light
My SEA view king room was recently updated. It had a big window. The food at the pub downstairs was excellent. It was a real BONUS to have tasty meals just a few steps away from our room.
I found the breakfast poor if one chose a non-cooked breakfast. THE bed needs replacing. Annoying emergency light was on all night and right in front of the bed in entrance.

fine view friendly staff limited breakfast bedroom upgrade
The location is amazing, especially if you plan to visit Iona. I had a fine view from the front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and chatty (which I always appreciate).
The breakfast was limited. My partner prefers fruit in the mornings, but no fruit was available. The bedroom and other areas require upgrading.
