really good stay
friendly staff clean room excellent food helpful feature
the staff was very attentive. the rooms were super clean and cozy. the food was excellent (i especially liked the breakfast options). there was a lift to first floor bedrooms, a very helpful feature.
the room was smaller than expected, with only one desk chair, but i understand that can vary.

Wonderful Scottish Getaway!
evident quality staff service beautiful decoration
The hotel provided an authentic Scottish experience for our visit. The cleanliness was Really good. The staff were kind. The food and service were both wonderful. I was particularly impressed by the hotel, beautifully decorated for a wedding, yet we experienced no disturbance at all.

fantastic stay!
equipped room ideal location helpful staff
The dinners were good. I ate in every evening. i found the staff helpful. the staff were all pleasant. the hotel location was ideal for our purposes.
My room was smaller than expected. It only had one desk chair. pictures showed an additional armchair i did not have. the mattress on the bed was soft so i did not sleep well.

mixed feelings about my stay
lack elevator broken remote
the lack of an elevator was a pain. my room was on a higher floor. getting my luggage up there was not easy. also, the tv remote didn't work, and i asked for it to be fixed, but it was never resolved. its annoying i had no tv in the evening.

My daughter and I stayed one night before a competition. Breakfast was early and very tasty. The room felt more like a suite. The bed was huge and comfy, and we watched a movie on the sofa. I got an excellent deal, but the full price is reasonable for the accommodation quality.
The room had a slightly dated decor, which could use an update to feel more modern.

fantastic getaway
high standard friendly staff excellent food easy milk
the hotel got refurbished. it is to a high standard. staff are so friendly. the foods, they are also excellent. i found alternative milks easy.
the upstairs floor squeaks. it can be very noisy when you try get to your room. i smell drains in the room, maybe from the shower.
