The location was the BEST. Staff were helpful and the building had character.
The food service felt rushed. It reminded me of a mass catering event. It was like being with a HUGE bus tour, everything was regimented. I could NOT relax.

efficient check-in warm atmosphere
the staff were helpful at reception, and check-in was efficient. i appreciated the spacious room and the warm atmosphere of the hotel. the location is special, so i spent time enjoying the scenic views.
I found the breakfast timings to be a little inflexible. The set schedule felt somewhat restrictive.

a charming stay!

loch view helpful staff evening entertainment train station
The location provided a lovely view of the loch. i found the staff very helpful. The guy at reception even offered to make me something to eat when i arrived late and missed dinner. i appreciated the entertainment offered one evening! the train station access, though via steps, was convenient for a trip to oban.
I noticed some cigarette butts outside the entrance upon arrival. It seemed a coach party had been there.

the hotel features a beautiful building it had excellent views of the loch. the rooms included craftsmanship all staff were helpful and friendly.
the hotel caters to coach tours you might feel out of place with rigid breakfast and dinner times if you aren't part of a tour group. the tv was small and far away i could barely see it.
