A Decent Stay

large room clean bathroom long wait window issue
I found the room to be quite large. It was modern, and it had a very clean bathroom. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff were helpful.
I stood for ten minutes waiting to be seated for dinner. The restaurant manager addressed other issues instead of seating us with a menu, and the hotel seemed like it needed some care. The window in my room took a bit of effort to close.

A Solid Stay

nice food great shower tired decor cold bedroom
The evening meal I had was really nice. The staff made the reservation for me, because I thought I would arrive late! The room I had was fair sized and well presented. The shower was great.
The bedroom I stayed in was really cold when I arrived. It remained too cold all night. The room had tired decor. There were gouges out of the plaster and marks on the wall!

Wonderful stay!

massive room helpful staff
The room was massive! I enjoyed the cosy restaurant and good food there. I found the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast was standard Scottish but tasteful. I was happy to see the hotel has a good wine selection and a good kitchen.
I noticed only two plugs in the room, neither near the bed. There was no USB port, and no fridge! I thought the room service menu seemed ridiculously expensive.
