fantastic stay!

quality toiletries own bed
The room was excellent. The bathroom was large and having the patio door offered convenient access for our dog. There were lovely extra touches like quality toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. The staff also catered very well for my dog because he had his own bed and a biscuit waiting on arrival.

a good riverside retreat

enchanting road tasty breakfast
The enchanting road leading to the hotel was a sight, with trees dusted with snow. it felt romantic next to the river. the breakfast was tasty with good options. i particularly loved the painting collection and the templar suite. It was perfect for cozy evenings by the fire.
i found the service during our meal somewhat slow. one staff member agreed to bring a menu and bill but disappeared for extended periods. other staff explained they were short-staffed, still, the delays affected our dining experience.

i appreciated the convenient parking space. the staff was attentive and quick to respond.. especially during breakfast service. the fudge was a thoughtful, personal welcome on my first wedding anniversary.

riverside view modern bathroom friendly staff
i loved the hotel! i booked a room with a riverside view and the scenery was fine. the bathroom was super clean and modern. the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was great with tons of choices!
The carpets in some areas could use a little refresh. I thought they looked a bit worn, nothing major but it did catch my eye.
