The fresh breakfast impressed me with its quality and variety. the sea view from my room was amazing. I loved waking up to it. all the staff members i encountered were friendly and provided excellent service.

i appreciated the upgrade to a larger room. it included a king size bed, a comfortable sofa, and a table with chairs. the view was amazing, overlooking the sea. the hotel provided cozy blankets to use outdoors.
i noticed the shower's water temperature was only lukewarm.

the hotel enjoys a lovely corner location. it offers semi-panoramic views across the sea and the port. i was able to see ireland from my room, thanks to the great views and ideal location.

I had fish and chips. They included homemade chips and a large piece of battered fish. the meal included mushy peas, pickled onions, bread, and butter. i found the food very well presented and tasty!!!

the bathroom felt updated and had a comfortable bed. the room was spacious and looked super fresh, which i loved. bathrobes were provided, such a nice touch.

average stay with issues

boiler noise excessive heat
the main issue was the noise. i was given the douglas suite. the main boiler is located in this room. between the heat and the noise, it really spoiled what should have been a restful night. the heat oozed through the door, and the noise meant very little sleep took place.
