modern rooms and great seafood

modern room natural light fresh seafood
the rooms are modern and bright. our room featured skylights and effective blackout blinds. the bed was comfortable and i used the digital TV and wi-fi. the tea and coffee facilities were very useful. the bar and restaurant were highlights, and i found the fresh seafood to be excellent.

Seafood restaurant, tasty!

tasty seafood modern room
I was staying in a double room and it was bigger than i thought. there was a big telly too! breakfast is well worth getting up for. I recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. i booked an evening meal and, if you love fish, you must try it. it was fresh!
i found the light sensor in the bathroom a problem. the windows in the bedroom did not open so i had to keep the bathroom window open to cool the bedroom. the light kept coming on at night.

the hotel location in the middle of the town is really nice! it is also situated close to the ferry, which makes checking in after a late ferry arrival so easy. there is also easy parking nearby.

generous breakfast seafood platter well-prepared dishes hotel decor complaint handling uncleaned room
The breakfast was generous and well-prepared. I ate one night at the restaurant and the seafood platter was amazing. There was almost too much food.
The hotel decor was beautiful, though I was disappointed by the complaint handling. Our room was not cleaned, even after we were out from 10:30 am until 8 pm. There was no apology from the hotel manager.
