Charming Stay with Modern Amenities

stocked fridge spacious bathroom friendly staff
The room included a coffee machine and a very well-stocked fridge. The bathroom was spacious. Lovely toiletries were provided. I found this very useful. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. They always greeted me with a smile.
I noticed that there was no dedicated hotel reception area. Check-in occurred at the back of the bar.

central stay

central location fluffy towels
the central location was quite convenient. the room was spacious and had pleasant contemporary fittings (i liked the decor). i found everything clean, and the staff were very friendly upon arrival. the bathroom was spacious with fluffy towels.
I had to walk through a crowded bar to check in, and i stood around waiting for someone to assist me. it would be better if there was a separate check in area. It's not ideal when you have suitcases and bags.
Dining
8/10
the restaurant is on the ground floor, and breakfast is à la carte (a wide variety of options were available). i noticed external guests also come for breakfast here, meaning it can get pretty busy. the food tasted nice.
Location
10/10
The hotel is just off one of the main streets. This makes it easy to get around and explore the city. the position provides easy access to many of the major attractions. Everything is very close. there are nearby shops as well.
Rooms
9/10
my room came equipped with a coffee machine, including various coffee options. there was also a kettle (with tea and coffee) and a well-stocked fridge. the bathroom was also large and well-equipped (shower was strong).
Facilities
9/10
There is a lively bar that is reasonably priced, even though it gets very busy. the staff were helpful. They went over everything about my stay. the manager even carried my bag up the stairs (very kind of him).

great relocation experience

large room staff compensation sister hotel
i volunteered to move to their sister hotel nearby, tigerlily. both hotels were nice, and the staff compensated us for the relocation. our room was large. the staff gave us a few extras as a thank you for accepting the relocation.
It was a little difficult to find the location initially. A clearer sign outside would help!
Service
9/10
The front desk team was cute. They stored our luggage and even provided extra tea bags. the staff were really nice too ensure our needs were met promptly. their attentiveness stood out.
Facilities
9/10
the room included some extra surprises! the modern amenities in the room were a welcome addition. the super clean condition of the room contributed to a comfortable experience.
Dining
8/10
I appreciated the packaged breakfast that was prepared early for us, it suited our schedule perfectly. the breakfast was not a buffet. It was a restaurant that served both hotel guests and the public. the breakfast itself was delicious and freshly cooked.

Acceptable Stay with Some Drawbacks

helpful staff beautiful decor lovely food missing lobby computer check-in missing elevator
The staff were helpful. The room decor was beautiful. I had food downstairs. It was LOVELY.
There is no lobby. The check-in is a computer at the back of the restaurant. I had to drag my bags down a flight of stairs to get to it. There ARE no elevators.
