the gardens looked well maintained i suppose.
the room smelled strongly of damp i noticed it made sleeping difficult the whole time i was there i mentioned it at checkout but i doubt anything will be done.

I loved the gardens. They were fine! i spent quite a bit of time just wandering around. the staff were so friendly and helpful. the hotel has a lovely rural setting, away from the hustle and bustle. i found it to be a relaxing and peaceful retreat.
my room, while clean, was a little dated.

musty smell thin duvet
i found the location good and the hotel overall set up good. the room had space and all that stuff you need.
the room smelled musty i thought. when i mentioned it the next morning, nobody seemed to care. the carpet had many stains it was really used. the duvet felt thin not up to what a hotel should have.
