attentive staff lovely cocktails kind gesture
the staff proved very attentive and helpful. i sampled lovely cocktails at the bar. a complimentary upgrade for my wedding anniversary proved a KIND gesture.
the decor was a bit dated.

EXCELLENT stay!

scottish breakfast quiet room attentive staff room upgrade
The breakfast was AMAZING!!! It featured typical Scottish options. The room was quiet, also comfortable. The staff was very attentive and cute! We got a free upgrade for our anniversary.
The external window frames could use a fresh coat of paint to better match the lovely interior.

I was really annoyed by a couple of things. the shower had very low pressure. It barely trickled out. also, there was a late-night function so music was very loud. i couldn't sleep well because of the noise.

fantastic stay at a hidden gem

personal service delicious food excellent service
i received such personal service. i knew i might arrive late for dinner, so i informed the hotel. they kindly let me pre-order and kept my dinner for me, even though i arrived after the kitchen officially closed. the food was AMAZING!!! the service in the restaurant was excellent too.

lovely lodge experience

spacious lodge warm lodge
the lodge was spacious and warm i had everything needed for my stay the apartment was decorated well and comfortable for my parents we had a great time i would come back the area is fine.
the staff was helpful however i noticed the bath tub was not very clean it had some hairs i saw when i was showering breakfast was not that varied but it was acceptable.

the food was exquisite, and the staff very friendly. the room was cozy and super clean clean. i found a lovely walk behind the hotel leading to a picturesque lake, a great way to unwind after dinner. the walk added a special touch to my stay.
the chair seat in my room looked worn and somewhat broken.
