restaurant closure average food
The staff were very friendly and helpful . The breakfast was great (especially the scrambled eggs!).
I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for dinner and meals were served in the bar. There were many TVs with football on at a high volume, not ideal for a quiet dinner. The food quality was average. It did not meet expectations for the price point.

An okay stay

sea view young waiter stained carpet missing toiletries
I had a large dining room with sea views. It faced the Isle of Arran. The food was well served with a good choice on the menu. I also appreciate friendly service from the young waiters.
The carpet in hallway leading up to & including Corrie suite really could do with a renewing. It seemed stained. I also noted missing toiletries from the bathroom, and I had to ask for it.
