Satisfactory Accommodation Experience

helpful staff clean sheets hotel location
The staff demonstrated friendliness and helpfulness. Clean sheets and duvets was in my room. The bathroom included a bath, that was good. Traditional hotel breakfast was available between 7 and 11 in the mornings. I found a calm and nice environment when I ate mine around 9.30. The hotel is located near a bus stop which gives access to Edinburgh. There is a cinema and many restaurants close to the hotel. Starbucks is located across the street.
I experienced a problem with the payment system. They said I should have paid in advance since their system changed. It required a long time to resolve. I found the customer service to be inadequate during this process.

The hotel provided easy access to the motorways. There were sufficient parking spaces directly in front of the premises. I was able to reach various dining and entertainment options within a short distance from this location.

The carvery at the hotel restaurant was delicious. My friends enjoyed the steaks. The bar offered plenty of options on the menu. I observed staff providing good service and options for every dietary requirements.

Excellent Staff and Convenient Location

friendly staff clean sheets convenient location
The staff was really friendly. The sheets and duvets was clean and I did appreciate the bath. The restaurant had charming atmosphere, the staff was quick and kind. Breakfast was between 7 and 11, it was nice at 9.30. I enjoyed the bus stop location. The bus into Edinburgh was easy.
There was no elevator. It was a bit of a inconvenience. The full carpeting did make rolling luggage harder.

i loved that the hotel is near many options. i could easily walk to a smash burger restaurant. there was also a bus station very close by with lots of regular buses (super convenient!).
the shower was shocking. i tried to get a shower when i arrived and the water trickled out. i tried again before sleeping and it was the same.

friendly staff clean room quality food convenient location
The staff were friendly and helpful! The room I had was very clean, I noticed. Breakfast included good quality food. The hotel is also very conveniently located near the motorway. It made onward travel very easy for me.
The carpeting showed minor staining in places.

The staff responded quickly and efficiently to requests. They provided extra towels and toiletries upon request. Check-in was very efficient. I was in my room within minutes of arriving at reception, which I appreciated.

My room had comfortable beds and nice, clean bed linen. The bathroom had soap and shampoo dispensers that worked well. The air conditioning unit also worked perfectly!

I appreciate that parking is free and plentiful, a HUGE plus! Several restaurants are available within easy walking distance. There's also a cinema close by. The location is very convenient.
