excellent porridge cooked breakfast friendly owners super clean hotel
The breakfast included excellent porridge and a full cooked breakfast. The owners were very friendly. The hotel was super clean, and the lounge provided a nice space for relaxation. I really appreciated the early breakfast provided on my first morning.

room service impersonal service
The reviews had set high expectations, but my experience fell short. i only saw the hostess briefly at check-in and check-out. My room was not serviced one day, and i learned i should have requested it. The breakfast service felt impersonal with little conversation or follow-up about a restaurant recommendation. i felt a lack of genuine interest in guests, disappointing.

SUPERB Getaway!
attentive host super clean room amazing breakfast
Mark and Claire were attentive. They helped me find the BEST local walking trails. My classic king room was super clean and comfy. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! There were so many delicious options.
The shower head wasn't fixed properly. It needed readjusting.

delicious breakfast beautiful garden
the location is excellent and the breakfast was delicious the gardens were beautiful too i ordered the scottish breakfast each morning and it was prepared perfectly. the hotel was super clean and i could tell the owners put a lot of care into its upkeep
i did notice a small stain on one of the towels in the bathroom it was minor though
