a manor stay

spacious room fresh milk
the room was very spacious and clean. there was also a mini fridge including fresh milk for my tea. the breakfast was arranged buffet-style just outside the room, so i could bring it inside. it was super convenient.
i arrived hoping for an early check-in, but the room wasn't quite ready. i had to wait a little bit.

dust grime
the continental breakfast outside the room was a convenient touch.
I found the cleanliness to be less excellent than expected. There were several areas that clearly had not been thoroughly cleaned, including dust and grime in corners.

some issues

late check-in missing chairs
i arrived hoping for an early check-in, but my room wasn't ready. i returned later, and it still wasn't cleaned! the staff didn't seem to prioritize getting it ready for me. there wasn't a great view from my room either, and no chairs were available outside.

mountain view king perfection

large room massive bed great variety perfect view
The room was larger than expected, a good size for moving around. the bed was massive, providing ample space and comfort. i found the breakfast to have great variety, a really lovely start to each day. the view from the room overlooked the mountain. It was picture-perfect.
i noted the hotel is a little outside of town, so a car is helpful for easier access.

breakfast included a continental selection with options like eggs, breads, cereals, yoghurts, and fruit, ensuring a satisfying start. the breakfast room offered views of the highland cows. the granola pots are especially delicious.

Janice and scott were wonderful hosts. They addressed a shower issue quickly. janice offered warm, helpful assistance, and i appreciated her attentiveness . she even gave my son a gift. It was a very kind gesture.

The hotel is close to many points of interest. It has amazing views. the manor is located just outside of town. Everything remains easily accessible. i enjoyed a beautiful woodland walk near the river, right by the hotel.

spacious room clean bathroom distant location missing light
the room was quite spacious and very clean the bathroom included two separate sinks. breakfast was set up just outside the room it was nice to sit and take in the views while eating it
the location was a short drive from the town i would have preferred to be closer. there was no light outside near the hot tub it made it difficult to use in the evenings
