elevator proximity significant noise
The breakfast was acceptable (though nothing special).
I encountered issues upon arrival. My request for a room away from the elevator was not honored. I was assigned a room right next to it. This resulted in significant noise, disrupting my sleep.

A Good Respite Near the Royal Mile
attentive service spacious room fluffy towels
The front desk staff provided attentive service. I found the room spacious and immaculate. The bathroom included premium toiletries. a great shower and fluffy towels. The location was convenient, a short walk to many attractions!
The breakfast buffet had limited vegan options. This made mornings a bit difficult for me.
Dining
8/10
The restaurant menu offered a diverse selection of dishes. Breakfast included fresh pastries, fruit, and a selection of hot items. I also saw that the dining area had ample seating and natural light.
Location
9/10
The hotel is near the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. The Palace of Holyroodhouse is about a five-minute walk. I found several shops and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel.
Rooms
10/10
My room contained a king-sized bed with crisp linens! The bathroom had both a shower and a separate tub. I noticed that the soundproofing was excellent. I heard no outside noise .
