The breakfast was acceptable. Nothing special, but filled me up.
My room was definitely not up to par. the shower leaked badly, spraying water everywhere. also, housekeeping seemed nonexistent . I had to ask for fresh towels myself.

mixed feelings about the stay

late check-in small towel
the village inn had a short menu with tasty pub grub, i have to admit. the steak and ale pie hit the spot.
I found the check-in time too late. 4Pm is not ideal. i also observed that staff at the bar seemed to favor locals. the bath towels provided were too small. Bath sheets would have been better.
