the location was good. the reception welcome was very friendly. the value for money is also very good!

The room was clean. I guess that's something.
I can't say i was impressed. the room was quite dated. The pelmet was worn. a bedside light wasn't working, and the room felt tired. I think it was last updated in the early 90s.

spacious room accessible bathroom friendly staff peaceful sleep
I was thrilled by the size of the room. It felt so expansive! the accessible bathroom in our room was a total plus for my husband. we both really appreciated the amazingly friendly staff. getting a peaceful night's sleep was the best!
I noticed a very small detail. One of the bedside lights wasn't working, but that's really all.

I found the hotel very clean. the beds were comfortable, promising restful sleep. the staff were friendly. i liked having breakfast included. It was a convenient start to my day.
i noticed the room looked directly onto the car park. this meant a lack of privacy due to foot traffic. it also caused some noise issues.

the hotel provides ample parking. i also appreciated the proximity to the nearby park a minute away, a nice spot for children to play and unwind after a long journey.

the restaurant offers superb food and the breakfast was hearty. i had an early family dinner in the beer garden, a pleasant space for dining with a good menu to choose from.

the hotel has good walks along the canal to the falkirk wheel or kilsyth, it is excellent for spotting deer and foxes along the way, perfect for enjoying the fresh air.

the front of house staff were helpful. i found them to be very friendly and caring and i can't thank them enough, they were wonderful and always available when i needed assistance.
