relaxed comfort on colonsay

comfortable bed en-suite shower room country house
The location was good, just a short walk from the harbour. my room, a standard double room, had a comfortable bed. it also included a nice en-suite shower room, very useful after a long walk. several lounges gave the place a country house feel. We loved the bar.
The dinner menu was disappointing. I noted very little local produce was offered. breakfast was nice, but utensils for buffet selections were missing. overall, the hotel needs some care and attention in several areas.

An Excellent Place!

The breakfast had a good standard. Waiting staff was great, which I find very nice. I liked the pleasant garden plus the seating outside, those small things make a huge difference.
