well presented room clean room netflix access missing bathroom curtain poor water pressure breakfast supplies
the room was very well presented and clean. it was really cosy at night time. having netflix in the room was a nice touch! milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits were lovely.
There were no curtains on the bathroom window. water pressure in the shower was poor and it was difficult to get a decent temperature. there was a large family who cleaned out the breakfast supplies. All that was left was yoghurt and cereal.

a stay with some drawbacks

cold room old windows
The room felt quite cold at night, even with the heater on maximum. it seemed to switch off during the night, only reactivating around 6:30 am. the outside temperature was near 1 degree celsius. the old windows didn't help either, resulting in a very chilly space. there were no extra blankets available. I really needed those!!!

a spacious family retreat!

family room double bed single bed
i booked last minute because of a ferry cancellation. i stayed in an annex behind the main building. it took a moment to find it, but i was very happy. the family room i got for myself and my three teenage children was very spacious, with a double and two single beds.
It wasn't clearly marked which space we were in. i had to search for the right number. A message beforehand would have cleared that up for people in the back garden cottages.
