Wonderful stay!

friendly staff convenient parking delicious food
The staff were so friendly and very helpful. I was also very pleased with the on-site parking. It was a great convenience. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. The food tasted fresh and was delicious.
The hotel decor is a bit outdated.

superb view cute staff malt selection
The double room offered a superb view. the staff was very cute and helpful. i especially appreciated the good range of single malts available in the bar. Each dram was savored after adventurous days.
The parking areas did get full. Spaces were limited.

The staff was attentive. Duncan seemed to be everywhere. he worked as receptionist, waiter, and barman, always with a smile and a helpful attitude.

my room featured a fantastic bathroom and a really effective heater. the heater maintained a comfortable temperature, especially welcome on a chilly night, and the room was of a good size.

helpful staff amazing food broken lampshade uncomfortable bed
The staff was very helpful. I loved the restaurant and bar. I had only planned to have a main course, but I was tempted by the starter menu. I even shared a dessert, despite feeling full.
The shower did not drain properly. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. I noticed the room decor was very tired looking with curtains hanging off the window. There was a broken lampshade and a broken kettle lid.

a very enjoyable stay

clean room comfortable bed fresh breakfast attentive staff
the room was clean and very comfortable. the breakfast menu had a great selection and everything tasted fresh. the large bathroom included a great shower. the pub attached was perfect for a drink in the evening. the staff were friendly, humorous, and attentive.

underwhelming experience

odd layout kettle location
the room layout was odd. it was an apartment-style setup, yet it lacked a kitchen. bedrooms and the bathroom were upstairs, while the lounge was downstairs. this meant i had to go upstairs just to fill the kettle (a minor inconvenience, but still).
